I'm here, I'm doing this, failure is not an option. If I continue to be THIS FAT for much longer, I'm seriously going to lose my mind and completely freak out. I don't know what I'll do. Go on some sort of fat lady rampage, eating all the cheeseburgers I can find, crushing all that fall into the shadow of my fatness.

No, just kidding. I'm serious about losing weight, and I think I am more mentally prepared for it than ever before. I keep getting older, and I keep getting fatter. This cannot continue. I have much more support and resources at my disposal at this time in my life, and I'm absolutely committed to making this happen. Woo Hoo!

My Goals:
My main goal here is to, first of all, lose weight, but more importnatyly to develop healthy habits that will help my entire family become healtier and more active.


My Program:
I'm doing pretty good at getting to the gym at least 3-4 times a week, but I'd like to improve on that. I also need to up my water intake!



Personal Information:
I am from California, I live in the Monterey area. I am married with two wonderful children, ages 8 and 2. I work at Carmel High School as the Study Hall Coordinator, which means that I spend the majority of my day sitting at a desk. Not so great for weight loss! But hey, I have LOTS of time to log on to SP and get motivated!


Other Information:
I am an avid reader, love to watch movies with my husband and kids, and enjoy nothing more than a pedicure and a day of light shopping on the weekend.
