Hey thanks for reading my blog and for ur advice. I'm taking it. Today i went to see the trainer at the Gym i'm a member at and haven't taken fully advantage of yet....the membership expires in September and he added me a few more months for free....further more he heard me out and going to work out a program for me no more then 3days week...now that something i can stick to as for during pregnancy when the time comes....i'll work out a plan with my doc...if i can't exercise we'll find a healthy calorie intake that i can follow...so not to repeat. But for now till we plan to get prego again...i will take it slow and not go overboard.
Hi Peggy - thanks for your comment on my blog. I'd say it's a mix of friends pressuring me and me feeling awkward about it - leaning heavily on the me feeling awkward about it more than anything. Thanks for the suggestions about how to dodge the drinking when I don't want to situation - I know what you mean about not wanting to make the focus of the conversation my health choices or imply any judgment about my friends. Hi Peggy! No, you are definately not alone! We all struggle sometimes. Changing your life takes time and won't all happen at once, as I'm sure you know.... I have found that focusing on one or two small changes at a time works best for me. When they become a habit, I move on to the next. One of the first, and to this day, most important, changes I made was to keep in the front of my mind that everything I do is a "choice."
