I found this site a few years ago after losing about 17lbs (I started at about 190) and instantly fell in love. With SparkPeople I've stopped smoking (about a year and half), lost crazy inches and 60lbs altogether (though I've gained a few back a couple times, gotta love vacation :P).


2013 GOALS:
*Stay committed to non smoker lifestlye

*Keep (electronic) food log

*Keep to a consistent workout schedule
*Cardio 5x /wk
*Strength/Toning 2-3x/wk

*Keep basic grocery list for healthy foods

*Lose another 15-20 lbs

*Save $ from EACH paycheck I receive

October Goals:
* Break the 130's (AGAIN!)

* Drink all kinds of water

* Keep committed to my non-smoker lifestyle

* Somehow find the time and/or money to reward myself

* Plan my meals and cook meals ahead of time

* Choose not to drink my calories (love Mio)

* Work out at least 5 days a week

* Stay accountable!



My Program:
I enjoy a lot of the at home fitness programs: (anything) Jillian Michaels, Windsor Pilates, (anything) Tae Bo , Insanity and P90X.

At the moment I'm following a mix of Insanity, Les Mills Combat & Tapout XT.

I'm basically following my own meal plan adapted from my years of trial and error and P90X & Insanity Nutrition.

I eat good (healthy) food I know I enjoy and can prepare easily. Fresh is best. I love snacking on raw fruits and veggies. I don't have a lot of free time to cook, so when I do I usually cook 2 meals at once. I don't deprive myself of anything, just take it in moderation.

Personal Information:
I'm 26 & a huge geek. I LoVe working out and challenging myself. I could NOT LIVE without music, I have an eclectic taste. I'm kind of obsessed with Sci-Fi (Stargate SG-1 and all the spin offs, Firefly, Dr. Who, even Anime). I love reading as well - very into Game of Thrones and the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice (Team Kill Twilight!)

Passions - All forms of Art and expression, Sculpting (clay mostly), Sketching, Digital Media, Reading, Music, Love

Thank you so much for you comment and congratulations on your weight loss!
I can honestly say that the food on that medifast sight is just amazing! It doesn't feel like I'm on a diet at all.
Also, there's another color run in May over at National Harbor. Sign up is on December 1st and it fills up fast!
