Live life to the full.

After long illness including brain surgery, I am BACK, with a new lease on life, ready to lose the weight and be stronger than I've ever been.

I wrote the below awhile ago - pre-life-threating surgery and hospital stay - but it's still spot on. I want to laugh more, love more and better, help people all I can, and be grateful every moment. I can tell you from first hand experience that life's too short to worry about silly stuff!

I wrote the below awhile ago - pre-life-threating surgery and hospital stay - but it's still spot on. I want to laugh more, love more and better, help people all I can, and be grateful every moment. I can tell you from first hand experience that life's too short to worry about silly stuff!

My goal is too laugh LOTS more - but I want to get rid of the tummy that jiggles like a bowl of jelly every time I do!

There's more to it, of course. I am trying to cultivate a mindset that allows me to enjoy the life that God has given me while doing good in some small way.

The amazing thing is that each moment we're alive is a new chance, a chance to go in the direction we want to go in. I want to move toward health, contentment and peace.

PEGIGGLE is ambivalent about my latest NSV: I can iron now without pain. That's great, but it means ironing!

My Goals:
To go on a 2 week walking holiday in August.

To become a Zumba Gold instructor even though I have 2 left feet!

To be able to pick up my grandson.

To study!

To get my neck really strong.

To have my own Pilates Reformer.

My Program:
I'm doing Slimming World. It's early days yet but so far, so good. Planning is key! (But that is definitely my growing edge.)

Every day - EVERY day - I walk for 40 miuntes at least, and do my physiotherapy.

Every day I try to meditate and spend at least a few minutes in the sun.

Personal Information:
Home is the Home Counties but right now I live in the Middle East. I love it here (most of the time) but I do miss the stability of being home. And GREEN.

Other Information:
It's not how many times you fall down that matters, but how many times you get back up.

Thank you for your support about my weigh in ideas on Tuesday - I was determined not to get upset either way and your kind words helped a lot. I also got the tape measure out and found I have lost inches so I was smiling when I arrived at my SW club. I was even happier when the scales registered 2lb loss. emoticon

Lets hope I can keep it up next week, I am determined!

I see you have new blog and will comment on it tomorrow, thats the plan anyway.
