Today really is the first day of the rest of my life, so I want to be my best, do my best in everything I do.

I've been on Spark Program for 12 months, am 5'9" and lost 26 lbs, plus my latest blood test shows my blood sugar and cholesterol are back in the normal range. My blood pressure has been high lately but I know I have to reduce caffeine drinks and sodium. I have more energy and less pain since I've included at least five veggies/fruit daily and get daily exercise too. DH autnd I walk 2-3 miles daily. I initially followed both Weight Watchers Online and but now use only SP. I love that the trackers, articles, blog and teams are all free! What more could I ask? The results have been wonderful with me feeling better, and I recently started checking out the recipes too. I refer people to SP frequently.

I aim to walk at least 2 miles every day, aside from any gardening I do. I love to cook but usually I make meals around the 400-500 calorie range. I'm trying to eat 1300-1500 calories daily, so it doesn't leave much room for snacks. I'm pretty new on SP program, so I'll see how that meal plan works. I love wokked or steamed veggies (at least 2 servings daily) and 2-3 fruit servings daily. I have herniated discs in my neck and my low back, so it's a challenge to do other exercise. I go to exercise in a chair for one hour a week, and I try to do some yoga on my own. I am very fortunate to have a very loving, supportive husband, who helps out when I have lots of veggies to chop or need a break from cooking!

My Goals:
I am trying to live a healthier lifestyle and always remember that today is the first day of the rest of my life. So, if I slip up, I try to hop right back on program and remember that the overall big goal is good health.

My Program:
I went to SP lifestyle because my blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure were high and I felt ill. By eating 5 produce, whole grains and lean protein and drinking 8 waters and exercising daily, using the food and activity trackers on SP and reading health articles as well as posting with other SP, I've lost 29,6 lbs and my blood test/exam went well this month! I'm feeling better too.

1. SP online daily, reaching out to other Speople, tracking food and water and exercise

2. morning walk 2-3 miles

3. read Bible

4. Weekly exercise class

DH and I are constant companions and love to watch movies, walk together, use internet and sometimes cook together. The Lord answered my prayers when I met my Hubby!
