Okay, when I joined this site I wasn't very sociable or open. But I'm ready to really be on this site now. I'm feeling better and doing better than I was when I joined.

I've been overweight pretty much my whole life. When I was a child it was mostly just baby fat...some chubby...then middle school and high school happened and it just got worse. Being teased made it worse...now that I'm out of school and ...

Okay, when I joined this site I wasn't very sociable or open. But I'm ready to really be on this site now. I'm feeling better and doing better than I was when I joined.

I've been overweight pretty much my whole life. When I was a child it was mostly just baby fat...some chubby...then middle school and high school happened and it just got worse. Being teased made it worse...now that I'm out of school and I've been able to develop on my own and get some of the support and help I needed I'm much more appreciative of the person that I am. And I care about myself and want to take care of myself, body and spirit.
I want to lose this weight so I can live a long and healthy life. Plus feel better...and cuter...I'm pretty dang cute already so losing weight is just gonna make it intolerable. I'll be taking over the world and all that through evil-cuteness. :D

Be able to do like, full real situps. And more than two... XD *update 2/24/10: I can do like 12 before I feel blar, but I can go all the way to 20! :D*

Not be so afraid.

My Program:
I'm using an eliptical for about 15 minutes at a time*update 2/24/10: 20-30minutes now*. I have the incline set kinda high so I think I'm gonna try for a less intense incline and shoot for more time.

I'm also using a Stability ball, resistance bands and this other ball I call a Peanut. *update: Cat's broke my balls!*

Personal Information:
I like pink. :3

I have anxiety problems that cause me to worry maybe more than I should about my health. But every single thing I feel in my body I freak out over.

Other Information:
Right now I'm really into Charles deLint for books, Tyler Perry for movies and any kinda bompbomp music that makes me wanna...MOVEIT MOVEIT! =D

Welcome to the 300+team. 300 is such a BIG number but if we persevere, focus and motivate one another we can reach our goals!
We have so much of life ahead of us and it is so much better to work on ourselves and reach for our goals.

We can do it-- we are worth the effort!

All we can do is take it one day, one bite, one pound at a time.

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you.
