10/4/15 - One year down since my "restart". I've made many lifestyle changes to help me get fit. Exercise and eating healthy are now part of my daily routine. It's been a difficult year, but recognizing how much stronger I am makes it worth it! I'm not perfect, but more often than not I make the right choices. I believe I'll be even stronger and more fit this time next year!

My Goals:
Achieve and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Mini goals:
1. lose 20 lbs by 12/31/14
(achieved 12/21/14)
2. lose 40 lbs by 3/31/15
(achieved 4/5/15)
3. lose 60 lbs by 8/30/15
(Achieved 8/30/15)
4. Walk in a 5K event by 8/1/15 (achieved 5/29/15). Walked 2nd 5K on 8/1/15
Walked 3rd 5K on 9/20/15
5. Hold a plank for 60 seconds by 12/30/15 (achieved on 12/5/15)
6. Hold a plan for 2 minutes by 2/5/16

My Program:
1. Following Spark guidelines of 1200 - 1400 well balanced calories a day.

2. Initially started with just 10 minutes of cardio exercise a day, gradually increased to a minimum of 40 minutes, 6 times a week.

3. Added 10 minutes of strength training, 3 times a week. 12/5/15 - 20 minutes of strength training 3 times per week

Hi! My fit bit is a charge HR..I'm all synced! I did TWO walks around the block! The holidays were brutal. back on track!
