UPDATE:
My name is Phyllis and I started the Eat to Live plan on or about August 24, 2011 at about 230 pounds. Following the plan loosely, I have officially lost 60 pounds and I am so happy about that.

Non negotiables I have learned along the way:

Youíve got to do what you donít want to do so you can do what you do want to do

Getting enough water improves digestion, helps you feel full and can make your workouts more effective.

My Goals:
I am trying to get to my goal of being 103 lbs. one step at a time-- Trying to find out about my likes and dislikes of life while learning a whole bunch of random stuff along the way. This is about more than just weight loss. It's about learning to enjoy life past food, school and the stigmas of being overweight, single and middle aged.



My Program:
Drink 8- 8 ounce glasses of water daily.

Walk at least 15 minutes a day

Increase my green vegetables and fruits to 5 servings daily

Thanks for commenting on my blg! Of course you are welcome to the bracelet idea. I read about the standard charm bracelet, but it wasn't me. Then I saw the European style charm beads and I was hooked. My present for no longer morbidly obese will be a bracelet upgrade to a gold vermeil bracelet. My bracelet reminds me that I am worth the effort and it is a great fidget-something to do with my hands rather than reach for food. i am going to have to check out the Eat to live book. You are doing fabulous! How does Onederland feel?
