Build a Better Body

I've had some success using Weight Watchers losing nearly sixty pounds. Now I want to improve my physical health and find a way to maintain the healthy eating habits taught by the program. Tracking my diet and fitness activity is the best way I can think of to stay accountable to myself. It's nice to find an online tool that provides a means to track eating and exercise coupled with community support.

Looking forward to having some fun with this.

My Goals:
I'd like to trim off what extra weight I'm carrying around. Maybe loose a couple %s of body fat that remain.

My Program:
I started off at 235lbs with Weight Watchers. I hit a wall after losing 40 lbs and that's when I decided to get more active. Things all seemed to come together with gas prices getting too high and the weather starting to get nicer, I found commuting to work was a great way to get more active, beat the oil companies and enjoy each day a little more. With this extra activity and continued adherence to the Weight Watchers eating plan, I managed to shed another 20lbs getting me as close to my BMI as I could. As the summer faded I wanted to keep up the momentum and joined GoodLife, mainly for BodyPump.



While my weight has increased a little my waist continues to shrink. Through SparkPeople, my eating has gone from one geared towards weight loss to eating to support my level of activity.

Having torn myself down, I figure it's time to start the rebuild. I've jumped onto the P90X train and hope to see some impressive changes.



Other Information:
My favorite book right now is "Cooking with Pooh". I've never read more than the cover, but I find it's always good for a laugh. (seriously, it's out there)

Thanks for the warm welcome. Just finished KenpoX and week 1. Looking forward to a good long bike ride tomorrow followed by X Stretch. We'll see if the little ones will let me do that. :-D
