Patti, I have only heard good things about this type of surgery...And knowing that Lucy Lou will feel better just makes me want to celebrate right now. She is scheduled March 3rd, Lisa and I discussed in great deal her recovery and what it entails. She realize that I have the type of home (flat and no steps) a garden arm's reach and the time, especially the time and decided that it would be much more appropriate for Lucy's well being that I care for her until her second surgery/recovery full time. So that means I have her full time starting now until August. And I couldn't be happier. It was worth every emotional pain I endured, worth the roller coaster ride, worth the tears and heartbreak, worth it all...SHe is going to be loved and taken care of the best of my ability and hopefully she will heal quick...Sending you so much love and I have so much gratitude for your support and awesome hugs and concerns...xoxoxo fredie

Thank you sweet Patti! We started her on RImadyl twice a day and I will be giving her injections in hopes to rejuvenate her cartilage. I have to be taught how to do it after my Vet speaks to two surgeons. I was told it is just a shot under her skin, no biggie. Okay, I can handle no biggie. ;o)
