Healthier me for the Glory of God

My Goals:

Personal Information:
My DH and I with our cat live in Wilmington,DE. I love to garden, read,listen to music and dance, oh how I love to dance. Bless with a wonderful husband who also dances so we have a good time"cutting the rug"! LOL.

Other Information:
Married for 51 years to a great guy ,have three children and five grandchildren. I love to read,listen to music, dance and be with my family and one fuzzy kid cat Max. I love the Lord and thank God every day for my many blessings.

Hi Pat,
I have been back and forth to Drs. Doing much better. Was less on here. Now trying to get back and be part of Sparks.

Trying to get myself a balance in a day. Less on computer. More on Me. Myself and I. I like that idea of journal about ME.

I think a fab idea you started. Read you do it. Great therapy.

My doctor said my upper hip the muscles needs to be loosen. She suggested
a massage therapist but Ohip in Canada won't pay for it. So she said to swim would help tremendously. I love to swim. We do not have a pool or a pool in the country but a lake. So when the weather starts to be summer and water to be warm. I plan to do some swimming.. I see you dance. I used to here on sparks. That is where I loss all my weight. Dancing.
With walk.walk tape with leslie Sansone.I have dvd of the oldies. Can sure get in the movements. I tried the on the floor exercises and honest. I cannot do it. I am 73 and it really hurt me so bad now. I could not walk for weeks. I plan to keep track with my food tracking again. I have Microscopic Colitis. So my doc said my food life is trail and tribulations. I have to mark down the things that agree with me and portions. So after weeks, weeks. I am eating well So thought I would update you and tell you. I am trying to get myself back to the happy person I was. Pain free. I added you and you added me. So I wish to keep friends with you. Continue with you. And encourage you and hopefully you will be lead to do same for me. I can sure use the help.
If you have any ideas. I can use feed back to help. A bit of Osteoarthritis I have.

Since you may have been away or cannot find me on your blog. I am doing Jessica Smith on Youtube. Heavy exercises aerobic.. And my muscles are so improving. That I can do.

So what I wanted to know how you get calories to the tracker to total and then to my Nutrition track. I found it. So since I have figured it out. I have calories. Today was a terrific day June 18/2015. I did in house of Jessica work out and then my neighbor and I went out walking after lunch. I took pictures and she took picture of me. I posted in today second picture on my front page. I have along way to still go.
I have gained in my hips and top of legs. So it will take me a while. Exercise does cause weight some times. So I have told myself not to be discouraged.
If I do not see scale say. No loss.

Life is to short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. It it changes your life, let it. No body said it would be easy, they just promised, IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.

Hi Pat,
You were asking about the recipes, Pete & I have joined Slimming World (don't know if you have it over there) on advice from my Doctor to lose weight in order to get my knees replaced. It's absolutely amazing, we've both lost over 30lbs in 10 weeks! We've never eaten so much in our lives but it's all healthy filling food. Basically we cook everything from scratch using Fry-lite cooking spray oil & always using less than 5% fat meat. We can have any sort of meat as long as all visible fat is removed. It's much better than the pre prepared meals we were having before even though they were lower in calories. We're both feeling much better & now have the support of our weekly group meetings.

Hi...stopping by with fresh emoticon to make a frozen dessert. I have a new frozen fruit make and I LOVE it. Eating fresh frozen fruit like CRAZY!!! Thought you might join me. Strawberry and banana is my favorite. emoticon
