I love the words to Tim McGraw's "How Bad Do You Want It?"....eatin', sleepin', dreamin' with that one thing on your mind....pretty much how it has to be until I reach my goal. I can't 'take a vacation' and give up on the process. If I do that, I will spin around in space until I manage to grab that rock again and get back down to business. I never did the story board thing, but lately I'm beginning to realize I need to do it to reinforce my vision (a picture paints a thousand words?). I'm down 52 pounds and stuck in a kind of 'holding pattern'. Maybe I needed to spin out for a while, but I'm ready to get back to it. Love this site, and thanks for being here Spark People.

One goal:
Track that food. IF I BITE IT, I WRITE IT. And keep within those boundaries. Period. When I get there, I will work on other things, but for now, I am single minded about this.

My Program:
One day at a time...and staying faithful to my plan. Right now, that is all I am able to do. That is not all I WANT to do by any means, but that is enough for this former quitter.

Personal Information:
I may have the winter on my head, but the spring is still in my heart!(Thank you,Victor Hugo)
Since I have taken off 48+ pounds and counting...the world is looking like a much better place to live.

Other Information:
My 'choice' To Do list:
1. Don't be so critical of myself. I'm after all, only human.
2. Love and appreciate this life...it is a gift.
3. Just be thankful for the problems...they come with a gift in their hands...and Thank You FATHER GOD!

Thank you for your kind words. I am trying to get back on some sort of routine but it is one day at a time. It was great having my granddaughter here for a while. We talk on the phone and text but having her here in person so much better. We share such a strong bond now that neither of us have with anyone else. I hope you are doing well. emoticon

That was a great dea you added to my page and I am sorry I did not get back to you. My daughter was killed in June and four days later my husband went in to the hospital and died four weeks later. I have really been on a roller coaster since then - I am trying to get back into some kind of routine but it is a daily struggle. I hope all is well with you it has been a while since you were here.

    Hi PJ,
The recipe for the No-Knead bread is on the Spark Recipes and the submitter is THEADMIRAL. I'll try to get you the link and Spark Mail it to you. That is not the actual picture os the bread but it looks very much like that.

Hey! emoticon Great to see you on my page. Know what you mean about getting your mind ready to get onto that track. I slither off it regularly and it takes me a while to get back into it. NOT helped by the folk who jump in - lose the weight - make it to goal - apparently without a blip. Actually - that's not strictly true - I do find them inspiring - just look on longingly!! Do that thing of baby steps - I'm sure you know how it helps. Just one tiny thing each week. Picking one food item to give up/cut down on and controlling your portions can really get you started again. Give it a go - no one even has to know that you start - succeed - fail or what ever - except you of course
    emoticon
I'm OK-ish - we've had some great sunny days recently but otherwise there's been such heavy sea mist that I can't even see the other side of the square where I live. That and a lot of days with low and grey skies gets my partner down a lot and in his turn he brings me down with him - or tries to. Won't use the light box I bought him - won't make much effort at all. I know depression is terrible but I have had to learn to resist - or run away for a day - not very kind but I have to survive.
Stay with it now you've got back on here - it can only do you good - altho I totally understand the temptation of good food and slip all the time.
Whatever else - DO keep in touch emoticon emoticon
