Thank you so much for your wonderful comments in response to my blog. I struggle with walking alone, which is why, when my own two dogs have had enough walking for the day, I've started 'borrowing' the dogs belonging to two friends to keep me motivated. Maybe you know someone who isn't able to exercise their own dog, who would appreciate someone helping them out by taking it for some exercise?
That friend of mine whose house is for sale... today while we were out of town, she got a call from the realtor - the person who was interested in it has now sold his own house, so has raised his offer to meet her asking price. Two days of celebratory lunches in a week! For me though, mine involved chicken, or a very lean beef patty, and lots of salad. She is so relieved, and I'm so very happy for her. Now she can face the future without any financial concerns. 874 days ago

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, "In Memory of My Dear Friend, Little_Queen." The Mary Pickford quote was one of her favorites. Have a blessed day. 874 days ago
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. I've been feeling really flat all day, probably from having done too much these past few days, so your comment really gave me a lift. Take care. 879 days ago
Thanks for reading my blog. In answer to your question about what my friends said about my menu choices during our time out of town, well, they did look at me strangely each time I ordered something, but the comments never started till we'd finished whatever it was we were eating or drinking. Then each time we left the table there were comments about how they'd eaten too much, or how they really don't know why they didn't order a half serve, etc. As we were heading home, both friends were complaining of feeling bloated, and asked if I was feeling the same. When I said no, that I was feeling fine, their reply was that maybe next time they'd show a little more restraint. I remember using those same words time after time, only to choose to ignore them next time we were all out together.
Who knows, maybe next time they will order something lighter while still being as enjoyable next time? I hope they do, but they have to make their own choices. 880 days ago
