My Goals:

My Program:
-Use Shaklee 180 so I can maximize inches loss and pounds loss!
-Drink lots of water- at least 10-12 glasses every day
-Exercise 5-6 times/week
-Try to include exercise dvd in addition to walking 6x week and strength training and bike.
-High fiber at least 35 gms/day

Thanks for reading my blog. In answer to your question about what my friends said about my menu choices during our time out of town, well, they did look at me strangely each time I ordered something, but the comments never started till we'd finished whatever it was we were eating or drinking. Then each time we left the table there were comments about how they'd eaten too much, or how they really don't know why they didn't order a half serve, etc. As we were heading home, both friends were complaining of feeling bloated, and asked if I was feeling the same. When I said no, that I was feeling fine, their reply was that maybe next time they'd show a little more restraint. I remember using those same words time after time, only to choose to ignore them next time we were all out together.

Who knows, maybe next time they will order something lighter while still being as enjoyable next time? I hope they do, but they have to make their own choices.

Thank you so much for suggesting I drink water more regularly throughout the day. It's the one thing I've been slack on doing - it was all too easy to drink a minimum of 8 glasses each day while the weather was so hot, but within a week we've dropped to low autumn temperatures, strong winds and forecasts of heavy showers. That's when I find it really hard to keep up with those 8 glasses!
Today I filled a 750ml. bottle with water, and have been taking it with me wherever I go (not dog walking - too hard to hold a water bottle, continually untangle two leashes, and clean up after the dogs when they stop for more than just a sniff at something. I woke feeling not much better than yesterday, but the more water I've been drinking, the better I'm feeling. From now on, I'm aiming to drink at least 3 of those 750ml. bottles of water each day.

I felt exactly as you did re the seated cardio workout, and I also followed it up with the core workout immediately after. I think I like them both because I can manage to keep up with what I'm meant to be doing, but at this stage I'm quite happy they aren't any longer, specially the cardio! My muscles remind me a few hours later that they've been used, but at least they aren't sore, just a little tight.

Thank you for the link, and for the hula hoopers team info. Can't get a hula hoop here in town, so I'll wait till I can buy myself one before joining. I want to go visit a decent sports store so I can talk with someone who knows what size and type (if they come in different types) would best suit my needs. By then I should have myself into more of a routine... I hope.
