Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
I am a busy women with 3 boys, one in high school, one in middle school and one in elementary school. My fiance and I work full time and our boys have never ending schedules, lol. I started this journey in February 2012 and will continue for the rest of my life. This is not a diet for me, it is a lifestyle change. I want my family to be healthier and I'm starting with myself.
Life has a way of changing our plans. My goals have changed but for the better. I would like to lose at least one pound a week. My 1st goal is to lose 10 lbs by spring break, the last week in March. I think shorter term goals will work much better for me.
I am making sure that I set goals that are attainable to me and not unrealistic. I will make sure that I am eating more fruits and vegetables and that I am getting some exercise into my life. Start small but at least START!
I live in Wilmington, NC. The beach is just a few miles away from me. I currently work in daycare, although it's not where I thought I'd be now. I have 3 boys, ages 16, 14 and 5. I also have a wonderful fiance that motivates me as much as he frustrates me, lol.
We learn as we go.....

I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.
Make the decision, then do something - no matter how small - toward accomplishing what you want.
Persevere and you will win the prize.
You get whatever you settle for.
Your past does not equal, nor does it dictate, your future.
One definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result.
I need you to help me be accountable. You inspired me to lose weight, that I could do it with hard work. I know that you can do this. Start today, not tomorrow.

A blonde is terribly overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet. I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you will have lost at least five pounds. When the blonde returns, she's lost nearly 20 pounds. "Why, that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?" The blonde nods. "I'll tell you, though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day." "From hunger, you mean?" asked the doctor. "No, from skipping."

“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” ~Mark Victor Hansen
