I am giving SP another try after failing in the past. I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and under dr supervision to lose weight. He would like me to lose ten pounds a month. I have two girls that I would like to see grow up. I have come to realize that if I don't to something right now I may not be. Making a fresh start and no looking back.

Get soda out of my daily life.
More exercise and strength training.

Overall, I need a lifestyle change physically & emotionally.

My Program:
Set weight lost into 10LB increments.

Don't have soda in the house & don't let anyone order for you.

Exercising 5 days a week. Either at the gym or at home.

Congratulations on staying the same this week and not gaining and drumroll............ on losing a total of 11 pounds already!!!!!!

WoooooHoooooo!!!!!!!!! Awesome. You are doing great. KEep on going, keep fighting, keep battling for your health and fitness . You worth it and you deserve it. You need to be the best you can be to take care of yourself, and your family!!!!

Saw your Huddle on the 8-Week Battle Team this morning, saying that you need support, so I thought I'd stop by and offer what I can.

Congrats for meeting your first mini-goal of 10 pounds lost. (I'm the QUEEN of mini-goals myself: check out the "My Goals" section of my Profile to see how finely I slice things so that I can celebrate early and often. Each small victory encourages me to carry on.)

We all get discouraged sometimes. I know I was, when I crawled back to SP in late March after discovering that I'd regained 17 of the 26 pounds I lost last summer.

But long ago when I was feeling particularly hopeless--and beating myself up for not being able to stay relentlessly positive--a wise friend said something to me that I've never forgotten (at least not for long): "You know, right now you might not be strong enough to hold the hope. So just for now, your friends will hold the hope *for* you. And when you're strong enough, we'll give it back!"

Holding the hope for you!
