I'm 25 and sick of being 330 pounds! Its time to take action and finally achieve something. I've never been able to lose before but I will this time. I won't fail!

Well, after being on this journey for the past 5 months, I have to say... it's been easy ...

Well, after being on this journey for the past 5 months, I have to say... it's been easy and hard. Its easy to keep going when you're seeing results, but its also easy to slip up and fall backwards. Its hard to keep going when you don't see those results or hit a plateau. Its hard to go to the gym every day and count your calories. But, in order to get to be the me that I want to be, these are the things that have kept me going. I'm excited to see what the next five months has to bring me.

4/01/2012-
Seven months into my journey and 100 pounds down! I can't wait to see what else I can do now with this weight gone! So many things I never thought possible because of being overweight. No more! I did this for ME :-)

8/04/2012-
199!!!! HOLY COW! I'm more excited about this than I was losing 100 pounds! I haven't seen 199 since 8th grade. That was...... 15 years ago?! wow!!!

11/03/2012-
187! It took a while to get here from 199, almost exactly three months, but it was worth it. It was good to start to learn how to maintain and see what I am capable of. 187 was where I wanted to stop, but I think it's a good place to start maintaining for sure and see where I go from there.

My name is Amanda and I'm from Wisconsin. I live with my boyfriend and our four cats. I love to scrapbook, clean (yes, I know... weird!) cook and take photos.

I'm a hardcore zombie movie lover. I've got my own escape plan if it ever happens! Working on rule #1 in Zombieland... cardio! Can't be fat and still run away from a zombie! :-)

Hi there!
I loved seeing your smile on my page and knowing that you are checking up on me. I do need to find time to do some catching up. Somehow there never seems to be enough time in the day! And HEY! I noticed your ticker is SOOOOO close to your goal weight! I am so excited for you!! Have you joined the maintenance team yet and started thinking about the next step of your journey? I joined At Goal & Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance (even though I have another 10 lbs to go) and have also been reading different SP articles to learn more. I refuse to be another statistic and gain the weight back. We've both worked too hard to get to this point in our health!
I hope you are feeling better after your walk the other day, and that you are having a beautiful Sunday!
