I'm NEVER going back to where I was!

I started out on Spark in August of 2011 at 337 pounds. Over the course of the next year I lost over 100 pounds and have been in maintenance for over a year now. Working to stick to the low 180's or high 170's.

So much has changed since I lost the weight... I NEVER want to go back to that girl I was before. Time to live life like it should be lived!

Starting weight this time around - 337 (Aug 2011)

-Calorie Counting everything
-Exercise at least 6 days a week, no matter what's going on.

My name is Amanda and I'm from Wisconsin. I live with my fiance and our two fur babies. I love to scrapbook, clean (yes, I know... weird!) cook and take photos, watch horror movies, go out with friends, and live life!

Other Information:
I'm a hardcore zombie movie lover. I've got my own escape plan if it ever happens! Working on rule #1 in Zombieland... cardio! Can't be fat and still run away from a zombie! :-)

My motivation is lacking too! I'm trying to figure out how to exercise more without feeling like that's all I do. It's crazy to think when I was losing weight I exercised 10 hours a week. Now I'm doing good to get 4 in! We only get 15 at the company I'm at now too! I can't complain much because they are paying for my school, but I still think we could get a few more. :) I'm currently stuck as an AR Administrator at the moment due to my lack of college. But I have been everything from AP/AR clerk to Staff Accountant. I've pretty much advanced as far as I can without more school so now I'm going back to get all this knowledge that a piece of paper will say that I have! I'm not bitter at all can't you tell!

How did your bridesmaid dress shopping go?

I think I saw the first episode of How I met your mother and never watched it again. I'm terrible with watching TV Series because I don't have the long enough attention span to complete an entire Season. LOL I'm glad you found my instagram. I feel like my whole like revolves around food or at least that's the impression I'm giving off! How's work been treating you? Is this new company going ok? Hope everything is great on your side!

Thanks for the support! I am determined to get my workout in. As you said, if I don't, then it becomes worse. I just need to tell myself I can-- and then DO IT. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts...!

Don't apologize - I think it is truly "Whiny Friday." There are even a group of us today at school - everything from splitting pants while pulling them on, to moaning over a pound gain. When I stepped on the scale this morning I was up - so that is a total of 7 up. I have a range of + and - 5 over my goal weight and now I am up 2.8 over the top of my plus end. Maintenance is hard. I refuse to go up any higher, but I am wondering what I am doing so differently, and I realize it TRULY is my snacking. I HAVE to be honest about this. One thing I did this morning was re-read my personal contract, then I stopped beating myself up. Then, I took the box of chocolate that was in my desk and I put it in the teacher's lounge - I'm sure no one really appreciated that, except the guys - hehehehe. Hang in there! We are in this together and here to support one another. YOU have a wedding to plan, which is stressful enough. Just keep being true to your goals and you will rock this maintenance deal. You will NOT become another statistic!
