Smoky doing what Smoky does best. Taunting the dog is a close second.

Misty trying her best to look like a lap dog. Soft and fluffy is her favorite!

New Hampshire in at least some of it's glory.

Looking Forward to Losing
Changes in lifestyle can take a while to take hold. It may seem like two steps forward and half a step back or sideways. But it's all progress, as long as I'm learning from all those steps. In the end, it's all about choices. Choices in how to spend my time. Choices in what to eat (check out my food log to see if I'm making poor choices or good ones). Choices in how I choose to think about myself. Choices in who to look up to in life. Choices in when to reach my goals. Choices in ...

Whatever choices I make, I have to live with the aftermath.

My Goals:
Short-term is to make my clothes fit comfortably. Long term is to have to buy a whole new wardrobe. Plus, I'd like to lose 30 pounds and be healthy, like I used to be. It's the pits to puff when you go up a few flights of stairs!
My Program:
Journal my food every day - several times a day if need be. Exercise more consistently. Stretch on the days I do strength training. Learn that I can handle my treats, like chocolate and Cheetos, in small portions.
Other Information:
I used to bike, swim, run, weight train, and walk every where. I'd like to be at a point where I could on a hike with my kids and keep up with them. I l-o-v-e to read, which is too easy to do and eat, too. I may have to resurrect my knitting/crocheting days to combat that.
