Pam's 2013 Plan

Today is March 14, 2014! It is time to update and get on with Spring activities. When I concentrate on SP tracking, and join in on SP competitions and challenges-its just amazing how I lose weight and inches. I know this is not rocket science, but staying focused is a huge road block for being successfully healthy all the time.

Today is March 14, 2014! It is time to update and get on with Spring activities. When I concentrate on SP tracking, and join in on SP competitions and challenges-its just amazing how I lose weight and inches. I know this is not rocket science, but staying focused is a huge road block for being successfully healthy all the time.
I am now signed up for two 5K's in the next two months, and working on signing up for two more. In Minneapolis, there are opportunities all the way up to Christmas!
I made a pact with God, that if he just brought on Spring, I would promise not to watch TV again until next winter. I'm still waiting, but we are having some melting. Yeah!
May 22 will be my 3-year anniversary with SP. I'm not down the 50lbs I started out to lose, but I am down 20lbs, and then bounce around that number for awhile. My biggest hurdle is getting below 200, so I can successfully report "One-derland!" I am more determined than ever that this Spring will be the hurdle breaker, and all Summer will be successfully staying under 200 and the downward spiral!

Today is September 2, 2013 - Day 2 of September #backontrack.
I have 15 days to meet/exceed my goals for healthy lifestyle and weight loss before my family reunion.
I have 60 days to meet/exceed my weight loss goals before my vacation to the Smokey Mountains in November.
I met most of my goals for August, now to take what I have learned and move forward to a more successful September.

Today is August 1, 2013 - Day 1 of #backontrack challenge!!
I have 31 days to set goals, meet those goals, exceed those goals, and make these goals healthy habits.
1. Drink 100 oz. of water per day.
2. Exercise everyday - 20 minutes minimum.
3. Keep track on nutrition and activity trackers every day.
4. Stay within my calorie range every day.
5. Take what I learn into future months!

After taking a 2-month hiatus, I now have a new plan for 2013. I am starting with new streaks, new focus, and more "me" time.
Reason #1 - my health.
Reason #2 - my self-worth.
Reason #3 - my quality of life, now and into the future.
I love working with SP friends and programs, but this time around, I will be working on my planning and focus away from the computer. I will take time to track and post, but have new priorities away from SP points and "stuff" that does not contribute to my goals.
I truly believe that SP is the best tool for weight loss and health gain available today. Each of us have to learn what is suited to our individual goals. After 20 months, I think I have finally figured that out--for me!

Set new streaks for 2013:
1. 100+oz of water every day!!
2. Log onto SP for tracking and journaling.
3. 10 min minimum of activity each day.
4. 10 min minimum of "me" time every day.
Weight loss goals include:
Shoot for 2.0lbs loss/week.

Personal Information:
Minneapolis, MN girl with two grown children and a new Yorkie puppy. My darling husband is very supportive and is losing more weight than me right now (good thing I'm competitive).

Other Information:
I have now been a SP member for over 2 years! I have accomplished so much, and look forward to accomplishing so much more. Highlights: Got married, lost 23lbs, (gained back about 10),and finished my first 5k. Goals for the immediate future: to lose those 10 lbs and run 2 5k's.
