Pam's 2013 Plan
After taking a 2-month hiatus, I now have a new plan for 2013. I am starting with new streaks, new focus, and more "me" time. Reason #1 - my health. Reason #2 - my self-worth. Reason #3 - my quality of life, now and into the future. I love working with SP friends and programs, but this time around, I will be working on my planning and focus away from the computer. I will take time to track and post, but have new priorities away from SP points and "stuff" that does not ...
After taking a 2-month hiatus, I now have a new plan for 2013. I am starting with new streaks, new focus, and more "me" time. Reason #1 - my health. Reason #2 - my self-worth. Reason #3 - my quality of life, now and into the future. I love working with SP friends and programs, but this time around, I will be working on my planning and focus away from the computer. I will take time to track and post, but have new priorities away from SP points and "stuff" that does not contribute to my goals. I truly believe that SP is the best tool for weight loss and health gain available today. Each of us have to learn what is suited to our individual goals. My Goals:
Set new streaks for 2012: 1. 10min on elliptical every morning. 2. 100+oz of water every day!! 3. Log onto SP for tracking and journaling. Weight loss goals include: Shoot for 2.0lbs loss/week. 10% weight loss in 2 months. 50lbs loss in 12 months.
My Program:
Take advantage of good weather to get outside and add to the fitness plan. Committing to my new goals. Asking for help (SP Friends or family) when I need it. Not letting myself feel deprived or feel sorry for myself. Again-get support from family and friends. Step away from the computer and pay attention to real activity.
Personal Information:
Minneapolis, MN girl with two grown children and a new Yorkie puppy. My darling husband is very supportive and is losing more weight than me right now (good thing I'm competitive).
Other Information:
I have now been a SP member for 1 year! I have accomplished so much, and look forward to accomplishing so much more. Highlights: lost 23lbs, and finished my first 5k. Goals for the immediate future: to lose 10 more lbs and run 2 5k's.
