Metal_Grl - Thank you for stopping by my page and saying "Hi". Inspiration is a scary word for me. :) Feels like too much pressure. I stopped by and read your journal, hope you don't mind. I can really understand your pain and frustration. I've been there myself time and time again. I got married on November 17th and when I bought my wedding dress over a year ago, I bought it btween 3-4 sizes too small. I promised myself I would lose enough weight to fit into it. Didn't happen. Had to have the dress altered so it would fit. That said, don't beat yourself up too much for your slips and falls. To really lose weight and be healthy, it has to be a journey - a lifelong journey. Believe me, I know how cliched that sounds. I feel like a fool saying it. All I can tell you is that in the 2 years it has taken me to lose 60 pounds I've jumped on and off the health wagon so many times... Long term consistency is the key. That and fiber. Find foods that are high in fiber that you really like (I highly reccomend black beans) and add them to everything you can think of. It's like instant portion control.
