This is it, no more searching for the right program, the pill that will help, the website to use.
I have struggled with being overweight since childhood and have lost and gained hundreds of pounds. I now am at a place and age in my life that I know the ability to do this is within me, along with support. There is no magic bullet, no easy fix but I can do this and look forward to sharing my experience with friends, old and new.

Hey Pam I used to have a terrible time with the charlie horses. My Chiropractor told me to add calcium supplements with vitamin D to my daily vitamins. Now I don't have them very often. Also, If you get one pinch your upper lip hard. It's a pressure point of some kind but it will help your leg muscle release the charlie horse. You and Chrys are doing such a great job with your exercise. Keep up the great work

Hey Pam!
Thanks so much for the swim equipment! We went swimming at the Y tonight and now I'm so energized! It's 11:18 pm and I'm still full of energy. Steve couldn't go, but daughter Jennifer did. I've gone from 22 lengths to 30 lengths and now 32 lengths. Now with the swim equipment you gave me, I'll be able to challenge Michael Phelps! LOL!!!!! I bet you'll love the swim aerobics class. The only time it's offered at our Y is during the regular morning at 10 AM. A lot of seniors go, but they must be retired to be able to be there at that hour. Nautilus strength training tomorrow. New Year's Eve has never been a big deal for us. Weather is supposed to get bad in the PM with another storm system on its way. ...... Have a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR, Pam! This is going to be OUR YEAR!!! Hi Pam! I had "the cold" over the entire Labor Day wknd. Good news is that, of course, by the time I had to go back to school, I felt infinitely better. So goes life. You are my first and only Spark friend! Thanks for adding me. Hang in there with all your responsibilities. I'll be thinking of you!
I've only been a member about a week, but doing pretty well. The first few days are always the easiest for me when I'm all pumped up and everything is new. My favorite thing is the pie chart that categorizes everything nto the percentage of carbs, protein, etc. Tues I really messed up (husband's b-day), and the charts gave me the boost I needed to hop right back on the plan!
