my goal is to lose 50 pounds by mid November and in the process lower my cholesterol and my blood presure.
At the beginning I am concentrating on cardio workouts, an hour a day, (for now split into 2 or 3 sessions) and I'm trying to become more aware of what and how much I eat. I'm also trying to drink a minumin of 8 glasses of H2O a day.
I grew up an Army brat - moving every couple of years on average. I've been married 35 years, and have twin daughters I'd like to set a better example for. I've raised dogs and horses, was an aerobics instructor and runner in my young adult years and more recently (last 10 years) have taken up ballroom dancing. I'm an avid reader, and I love to garden.

Hi there, Are you ready to start fresh on a new month's adventure? I am! I will be weighing in tomorrow morning and can hardly wait. Hopefully, I have lost a little more weight since last week. If not, I weigh in again next week and hope I'm more successful. Whatever, I have GOT to lose this weight. Look like I may be having some laproscopic surgery soon to clean out some of this dang arthritis and repair the torn cartlidge. Less weight would certainly be in my favor.
