Welcome to the Denver Team!!! It's always good to see a new member from the Mile High City! I'm a native of this great city and just love living here. We could always use a new member to help keep our city in the top 10 cities for Spark America minutes. So, remember to log your fitness minutes on your tracker here. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!

Again, welcome to the Denver Team!

Welcome to Spark! Motivation is strange thing - the key is to finding what motivates you. Baby steps though - set yourself goals that are very achieveable and celebrate every victory. You can do this!

My best advice for staying motivated is to focus on small consistent choices first and work your way up to harder things. Small steps I like to focus on are: logging into SP each day, drinking 8 glasses of water, getting in 10 minutes of exercise, and choosing to eat fruits and veggies. Once I'm good with those, I work on tracking my food and increasing my exercise. I have found tracking my food to be invaluable. I didn't realize how many calories different food choices had until I started tracking it.

Good luck on your journey to better health! You can do this and you are worth it!
