A new me!!

9 years ago I was able to lose almost 80 pounds, I kept it off for almost 2 years. When I was pregnant with my youngest son I was on bed rest for 4 months and the weight just came right back. My baby turned 6 this summer and it is time to get back into shape and start eating healthy again. I have struggled with back problems the last couple years and thought that by loosing weight and doing the strength training I would strengthen my back and relieve the pain. I have struggled with back problems the last couple years and thought that by loosing weight and doing the strength training I would strengthen my back and relieve the pain. After reading some articles on what exercises to avoid with a weak back I realize that I had been doing everything the article says not to. I started walking at the track and my back/leg pain is gone. I built up to walking a quick 2 miles and thought maybe I would give jogging a try. I was able to jog for the first time in 17 years.
I am starting the 28 day Bootcamp challenge today (8-17-11) so wish me luck!

My Goals:
I would like to lose 40 lb. by the end of 2011

I will swim or work out 4-5 times a week!

My Program:
I also watch not only what I eat but my portion size.

I have found that walking on the track helps my back pain. After working up to walking 2 miles I tried jogging. Suprising myself by jogging a full lap for the first time in over 17 years.

I am the mother to 5 great kids and wife to my best friend.

We are currently doing 'letter' challenges where we pick a letter and post pictures of things beginning with that letter or (more difficult) find the shape of the letter in something. Check out the photos tab on the main Photobugs page to see some past pictures and add your own! Our current challenge is the letter H, but feel free to post some from past letters if you like - just post a note to let us know to look for them!

Thanks for your comment! Post exercise my legs are so sore I can barely walk!!! I got my gazelle out while watching The biggest Loser, the kids helped me :-) Getting a new scale like that would freak me out-is the old one or the new one accurate?
