I'm interested in having a healthier lifestyle for myself and my children (toddler baby girl and another baby due this October).
I'm vegetarian and I live in London but, normally, my job takes me around Europe. And for 5 years I was on long-haul routes around the world. Fitting a healthy veggie diet & regular exercise regime between hotels, flights & home-life is a challenge!
If you need (or have) any advice on healthier long-haul travels come and join the 'jet-lag club' team.

I would like to be healthier and fitter.
Since joining SP I've drunk more water, cut down on fat and sugar content and eaten little and often. I've been focusing on whole grains, veggies, fruits and veggie protein. When I get the chance I love salsa dancing.
I'm 39 and live in the UK with my husband and daughter.
I usually travel a great deal but I'm currently grounded with 2nd baby on the way.

I'm a unitarian with an anglican background who believes in religious tolerance i.e. 'live and let live'. I dislike arrogance, selfishness and radical religious fundamentalism. I take an interest in the influences of religion and politics on our world.

My dream destinations: The Maldives, Yosemite national park, the Galapagos islands and Morocco's Atlas mountains.

I think of you from time to time. I don't come on Sparkspeople very often anymore as I am usually traveling or working. There are other leaders for the Love to Travel team now.
I'll wave to you as I near the UK as I am leaving in a few hours to visit my daughter. Her husband was transferred to Londonso I guess I'll be visiting there more often. The grandchildren are now 5 and 6 years old. Time flies!

I'm going to be traveling more than ever now that I have retired from full time. On Feb 5 we are headed to Australia/New Zealand for a month.
