Me and hubby at Adele's concert in Verona, Italy
Hi and welcome to my Spark page! My name is Andreja, I'm 30 years old and I live in Slovenia. I started my weight loss journey a few years ago when I found Sparkpeople "by accident", and it has been a great experience! Now, both my husband and I are Spark enthusiasts. I have lost a considerable amount of weight already, and I'm not giving up despite the struggles. I am getting rid of the excess weight for good! At the same time I am aware that this is not just about losing weight - it's also about feeling better about myself and most of all, being healthy. And it is a lifelong journey!
I'm always happy to make new friends, everything is so much easier with support from other people who are going through similar experiences - so please contact me if you want!
To get to a healthy weight, live a more active lifestyle and eat healthy; to lose and then maintain my weight with Sparkpeople. Also, to feel and look my best!
Eating within my calorie range (depends on my exercise, but it's quite small because I'm only 5'2); burning 3000cals a week with the help of workout videos (Turbo Jam, dance workouts and strength training); striving towards an overall healthy lifestyle with as little stress as possible.
I love reading (in different languages), Turbo Jam, walking... I work in administration.
Life is busy at the moment so I might dissapear for a while - but I always come back!

“Perhaps the greatest charity comes when we are kind to each other,
when we don't judge or categorize someone else,
when we simply give each other the benefit of the doubt or remain quiet.
Charity is accepting someone's differences, weaknesses, and shortcomings;
having patience with someone who has let us down;
or resisting the impulse to become offended
when someone doesn't handle something the way we might have hoped.
Charity is refusing to take advantage of another's weakness
and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us.
Charity is expecting the best of each other."

You're not running out of time.
You have the rest of your life to put your puzzle together.
Take your time and make sure the pieces fit perfectly.
Don't force anything. The pieces might break. Everything will work out.
And when it does you'll see the beautiful picture you have made.

“Words have special powers.
The power to create smiles or frowns. The power to generate laughs or tears.
The power to lift up or put down. The power to motivate or de-motivate.
The power to teach good or evil. The power to express love or hate.
The power to give or take. The power to heal or harm.
Choose your words carefully.”

~~ ~How to Keep a Healthy Level of Insanity~ ~~
1. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat.
2. In the memo field of all your checks, write 'for sexual favors."
3. Five days in advance, tell your friends you can't attend their party
because you're not in the mood.
4. When the money comes out of the ATM, scream "I Won!", "I Won!"
5. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot,
yelling "Run for your lives, they're loose!".
6. Sing along at the opera.
7. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme.
8..Tell your children over dinner "Due to the economy,
we're going to have to let one of you go".
9. Every time you see a broom yell "Honey, your mother is here".
10. "Hi-lite" your shoes. Tell people that you haven't lost your shoes since you did this.
