Every Moment is the FIRST moment of the REST of my LIFE!!

I should follow this advise:

"Never make someone a priority in your life
who makes you an option in theirs"

That means I need to make MYSELF a priority in my life, not just an optional part of my life. IF I want to be as healthy as I can be.

My Goals:
To accept God's love, to let myself believe God truly does love me unconditionally.

To make my learning a new better-for-me life-style a top priority in every moment of my life. Rather than a sometimes affair.

My Program:
I am in the process of learning "NEW" Healthy habits with the goal of their becoming my "Normal" Living habits. It may take the rest of my life to get my body to its natural weight. I prefer slow loss to my new forever weight rather than quick and having the battle of the bulge go on forever.

Personal Information:
I just LOVE old movies (40's and 50's especially) "Random Harvest" "Mr. Chips" "Pride and Prejudice" "Singin in the Rain"
AND how about the music!! BIg Band (Glenn Miller, the Dorseys) the singers: Frankie Laine, Perry Como, Billy Eckstine

Other Information:
I am an American with ancestors from other countries and ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War (and other wars since). I live in the Northeast in one of the New England states, New Hampshire. I live in an old body (with a young soul), am retired, a widow, & have 3 middle-aged children(?).

Hi Audra,

The sun was out here too but so was the wind. Was amazed at some of the guests. Thought they would lift my little kitty right off her feet!

Mom and dad are doing fine. Yesterday was dad's birthday and since there was a lot going on during the day, I brought the cake and balloons in late in the day and we celebrated at dinner time. We had a great time and dad said the residents were still talking about it this morning.

My daffys were up about 2 weeks ago after all that rain. About 3 -4 inches in the areas that get the most sun. I have some in semi shade and the are the last to bloom. Hope you are at the end of the snow. We could get a couple inches Friday.

Take care. Big hugs.....Mary Anne

Spring is in the air... a great time for planting and nurturing the seeds
of health and to start something fresh and trust in the magic of beginnings.
We got this! emoticon

Hi Audra, emoticon

It is so nice to hear from you! I love Spring! How are you doing? Hope you are feeling much better now.

By the end of each day, I am exhausted due to the current situation. Hubby did not get any pain relief from the second spinal injection at all. In fact, he said the needle hit his nerve... hence, making it worse! He is in much more pain now than before. We really do not have a solution yet. I am still praying for a miracle!

Daughter is still doing Tae Kwon Do. She will be taking her Certified Black Belt Test next month. My weight is still within the good range but I can tell by my pants I have put on just a wee bit.

Take care & God bless you!

Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog. Ashley is a typical man--have to pull complaints out of him like pulling hen's teeth. ((HUGS)) Linda Kay
