I should follow this advise:

"Never make someone a priority in your life
who makes you an option in theirs"

That means I need to make MYSELF a priority in my life, not just an optional part of my life. IF I want to be as healthy as I can be.

Found this quote on a friend's blog:
"Failure to exercise, frequent snacking and poor dietary choices are the common reasons for weight loss failure after gastric sleeve. "
note: remove the last three (3) words from the quote and it says it all.

My Goals:
To accept God's love, to let myself believe God truly does love me unconditionally. To make my learning a new better-for-me life-style a top priority in every moment of my life. Rather than a sometimes affair.

My Program:
I am in the process of learning "NEW" Healthy habits with the goal of their becoming my "Normal" Living habits. It may take the rest of my life to get my body to its natural weight. I prefer slow loss to my new forever weight rather than quick and having the battle of the bulge go on forever.

Personal Information:
I just LOVE old movies (40's and 50's especially) "Random Harvest" "Mr. Chips" "Pride and Prejudice" "Singin in the Rain" AND how about the music!! BIg Band (Glenn Miller, the Dorseys) the singers: Frankie Laine, Perry Como, Billy Eckstine

Other Information:
I am an American with ancestors from other countries and ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War (and other wars since). I live in the Northeast in one of the New England states, New Hampshire. I live in an old body (with a young soul), am retired, a widow, & have 3 middle-aged children(?).
on 3/15/15 I started to update this.. the update disappeared. thus I took that as a sign I should leave well enough alone.

... Come to mind, the kings or queens did retire and the monarchy went to their eldest child.

By the way, as far as I know, Camilla will never be Queen. I'm not sure what her title will be.

    Hope this helps,

I just found your question about Queen Elizabeth. She's still firmly in control, at 90, and still doing hundreds of official events each year. The younger members of the royal family, especially Princess Anne, Prince Charles and princes William and Harry are taking over most of the out-of-the-country travel. We heard just yesterday that William and Katherine are coming to British Columbia and the Yukon in September.

The Queen could retire, but has said many times that she never will. Even if she were incapacitated (a bad stroke for example), she would probably remain Queen but her duties would be handled by a Regent (most likely Prince Charles) until her death.

I don't know if you see much Canadian weather news, but I saw this morning pictures from Montague, PEI, showing flooded streets and water 3' high coming up out of the storm drains.

    Have a great week,
