PARABLE OF THE WOLVES

A chief was teaching his grandson about life...

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

My Goals:
My first goal is to lose 10 lbs by March 20...perhaps another 5 or 10 after that(?).

NEW GOAL: maintain my weight between 130 and 135 from now until October 19

My Program:
ORIGINAL: Eat less, move more. I am trying to stay under 1500 calories a day, to do cardio 3-4 times per week, and strength training 2-3 times per week.

NOW: +/-1700 calories per day; same cardio/strength.

Personal Information:
I am a sort of stay at home mom (I work from home)!

Thanks for the spark goodie you gave me this summer. I hadn't done much with Sparkpeople lately. I am now back with 10 more pounds to lose.

Hey, of course I remember you emoticon Congrats on reaching your goal! That's so exciting emoticon If I ever reach the 130's I'd be a very happy camper! The lightest I've ever been was 148 in high school. I think if I can get back there though I'd be happy!

I've been thinking about a personal trainer but it's a little pricey. I think it;'d be worth it though but I just don't have extra money. I'm actually trying to find a part time job right now so I have extra money for spending on things like a personal trainer or a new workout outfit. I think that'd be great motivation!
