Short term Goals:
Week #1 Drink 8 glasses of water each day.
Walk 6 miles per week on the treadmill/road
1 hour of water aerobics x 2 times this week.
30 day plan is to be consistant with meals/water and exercise.


My Program:
I want to walk on the treadmill and go to water aerobics.
Eating clean is my goal and keeping white starch and sugar out of my diet.

The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

Hi Dee,

Thanks for your sympathy for Ellen. It will be difficult saying goodbye on Saturday but I do know that hse is in a better place and no longer in pain, which does help too.

Happy Sunday to you. I have a Y membership through the medical insurance we have besides medicare, the Y membership is free to us with our extra coverage so I don't know what it costs. This added feature it nice and lets seniors stay active, without paying any up front coats---except if you want an special classes and gym pro--then you pay for that. Pool classes are free thou I think you have something to look forward to come Nov. when you get some time for swimming, sort of your winter go to.

Hi Dee,
No concrete plans for the weekend. With my mom's anxiety so high right now, I never know - and my sister works both days. Tonight my great-nephew and I are going to see Curious George at the Reif, which should be fun.
I am hoping to get outside to cut back perennials, put away summer pots, etc and maybe rake some leaves.
Roof still unfinished. Mike and Troy are going to try and get some done this weekend.
