I live in Northern Minnesota. Love to garden Let me know if your on Face Book. I also want you to know that I quit smoking on 1-23-2012. I live by the quote "Not One Puff Ever".
Sharing a quote: The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.
I can't believe it's been a month since I've been on SparkPeople. Struggling to find the right combination of diet and exercise to get permanent results. I must take my own advice: never, never, never give up :) Hope you are well.
Its a great idea, all that extra fitness over the holidays. You come up with the BEST ideas!
My van, which has been stolen since last May was recovered but it is TRASHED. Battery is gone, car won't run, a lot of body damage, etc. Also money has gotten really tight, I gotta get serious about finding a job.
Only 3 more weeks of school this semester. I'm so sick of school, I could just quit and go work at McD just to get out of classes lol. Well not quite... Anyway I have one more semester after this, plus 2 classes. So nearly done.
Yeah, this is early for snow here. This morning, the temp is 18*F. Then by Saturday, it's supposed to be nearly 60*. Usually early to mid-Dec is our big transition to winter. Even then, we aren't guaranteed snow all the time. Hoping you have a good week of night's then good morning work-outs. Anyone that works-out after a full night of work is amazing in my book! Hugs to you to, GF! ~Teresa
My week has been busy. Spent Saturday in Duluth with my youngest son, Sunday we were with my family to celebrate brother's birthday. Had quarterly meeting at work, finished purchased card reconciliations and reports and doing a million misc. things. Looking forward to a quiet weekend at home with Mike - unless he is out hunting with his brother, then it will be just me and the dogs.
