My name is Dee and I live in Northern Minnesota. My goal is to get healthy and learn to stay that way.
My long term goal is to weight 154 lbs. and then re-evalutate
My family resently ran a 5K race. Great family thing to do.
I figured out running isn't for me but am super glad I did it and trained for 12 weeks.

Week #1 Drink 8 glasses of water each day.
Walk 9 miles per week on the treadmill/road
1 hour of water aerobics x 2 times this week.
Get the bike out once the snow is gone.
Mid Term Goal:
Work on going thru the exercise video's

Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

Hi, how's it going? Hope you are having a great week. I'm pushing the restart button to get back on the wagon and ride this healthy journey hard. How is your garden doing? Ours is hangin in there. It's really hot here, so we water once or twice a day. We did get some potatoes. The weeds were waist high when we got back from Ia. They are all taken care of now, so I'm hoping it will really take off now. Hugs Jo

Thanks so much for the update and the goodie. I am about halfway through summer school and public speaking is finally behind me =)
I got an A and I really feel that class helped me in some ways.

I'm searching for a job now, I've moved all my fall (last semester) classes to evening so that I can work full time. So far, its been a week of putting in about 3 to 5 applications and resumes per day. I hope I can get something by September. I have such a non existent work history that its hurting my search. I'm thinking maybe I should get just any ol' job, just so I have a work history, then try again after I've held the job for the next 6 months. I wish I knew someone in my field that could help me find some entry level accounting or finance jobs...
