Curbside appeal with a Touch of Athleticism
Hello! I'm updating my information since signing on to Spark People on November 29th, 2012. I've had so many successes that I wanted to share them and note them in the blogs not only for my own motivation but hopefully they will inspire you if you are just now starting out. Hello! I'm updating my information since signing on to Spark People on November 29th, 2012. I've had so many successes that I wanted to share them and note them in the blogs not only for my own motivation but hopefully they will inspire you if you are just now starting out. I've been overweight most of my life. I've had moments of being thinner but always put the weight back on. This time around I had a different mind set and was ready. It was like life first kept showing me then hinting at me and finally screaming at me that it was time to lose the weight once and for all. This led me to a new perspective to make a life change not a diet change. I decided I wanted to become an athlete. And in that process there is no doubt I will lose weight! There are many things I want in my life and as the light gets brighter and brighter and I get lighter and lighter, I truly realize how much my weight has held me back and kept me in a very dark little corner of the world at times. It is a journey that I'm very excited to be on and I learn new things about me and am aware of little things each day. One of the best feelings is to work this program each and every day then to look back from when I started and KNOW that I'm making progress to KNOW I'm in a better place to KNOW I weigh less and can run more, lift more, move more. We all are given the same amount of time each day. It's up to us how we use it. The first big goal and destination is to lose 61 lbs then from there I may want to lose 20 more. It is to update my "Curbside Appeal" to match my insides so I can show myself and the world who I really am. I'm a vibrant, fun, friendly, smart person wanting to get out from all these years and layers of eating my emotions. They say you can tell how a person handles stress by looking at their belly! I want to give my body a permanent break from having to work so hard. The only way I want my body to work hard is to push it athletically to be better.

To make me a priority this year GOALS COMPLETED: - The C2K app program! -Lost more than 15 lbs by March 2013 -March 23, 2013 Ran my first 5K race -March 2013 bought a size smaller skinny jeans
My Program:
Currently doing: 1. I'm tracking my nutrition & fitness everyday on SP 2. I'm working out most weeks 6 days a week 3. My current fitness plan includes running, bicycle class and body sculpting NEW FITNESS ACTIVITIES I WILL TEST OUT: 1.Ballroom dancing-DONE TRIED 2 classes. Fun and will take more later. 2.Tae Kwon Do -3.ncreasing 5K time 4.Begin 1 -4 mile long run a week 5.Increase squats, situps and push ups

I'm a makeup artist and wardrobe/prop stylist. I'm a big fan of . . . -"The Walking Dead" -UFC -Jon "Bones" Jones I love the Caribbean, color and being creative. I'm making my transformation the priority in my life to get it done.
