I started working out in preparation for my wedding (because no one does THAT :p)...and got bit by the fitness bug. Now, I work out regularly, with running and spin classes being my favorite ways to sweat out my stress. I've completed four half marathons, am getting ready to train for number five, and have no desire to run more than 13.1 miles in the least. I do, however, want to try my hand at completing a sprint triathlon this year...assuming I get over my fear of open water swims and ...

Now, I work out regularly, with running and spin classes being my favorite ways to sweat out my stress. I've completed four half marathons, am getting ready to train for number five, and have no desire to run more than 13.1 miles in the least. I do, however, want to try my hand at completing a sprint triathlon this year...assuming I get over my fear of open water swims and creepy crawlies nibbling at my toes :D

Besides completing my spring and fall half marathons injury free and surviving a sprint triathlon, my goals for 2011 are to incorporate a regular (2-3x/week) strength training program and maintain a healthier lifestyle...meaning more fruits and veggies and less crap.
