I saw your comment on my page, thanks. I normally gain weight around my hips and thighs before it shows on my waist. Luckily, my waist was the first thing to go when I did workouts. I walk/run (mainly run) 3-5 days a week and do strength training 4 days per week. Focusing on strength training more than cardio is the key to losing body fat, especially adominal fat, fast. Muscle burns fat while you are sleeping and aren't exercising. If you do dumbbell weights, use the highest weight you can possibly stand doing proper technique and only being able to do 10 reps. This sends your muscles into overload and it is a high-intensity training technique for strength training. High-intensity interval training for cardio is also good to do. If you want to lose weight do 60-90 min of cardio 3-5 days a week and you will see results, but don't forget your weight training! Good luck!
