Howdy Everyone..Another year has gone by; I made it to 68 years old inspite of myself. Had many ups and downs this past year. I still have diabetes, with better control now. Arthritis and other problems with my muscles have left me with limited mobility. I use my walker and cane much more than before. Now that the Sunshine has returned I am determined to get out and walk every day; even if it is only 15-20 minutes. Perhaps that will help with my sleeping issues.
I still have lots of weight to lose. The scale never changes but clothes are fitting better. Medications also play a part in keeping the weight on. I know that my weight is a big part of my health issues. It is a vicious cycle.
I live alone, and feel sad most of the time. When I look in the mirror I do not even know the person I see there. I sure would like to see the happy smile that I once knew. I know that person is inside me, somewhere. Oh, how I long to find that her again. Today I begin a new lease on life...with new determination to eat healthy, get out of my house and feel the sun on my skin. But starting over is hard. Not sure where to start. I already eat healthy...just need new ideas and motivation. Getting the SPARK back seems to be a good place to begin...
I would like to start anew with my eating/diet plan...

OOOhhh how sad. I just had two friends pass away this weekend. One was an old 93 yr old Sister in the Congo and the other was my dear friends son just 32 yrs old. Death IS and ENEMY and we lose the battle sometimes in this system but the ultimate victory will be ours.
Pass on my regards to Lindas daughter even tho she doesnt know me as I want her to know her Mum had friends all around the world.

    Cheers Jillymck WonderWoman LOL

Our convention is July 15-17 so I will find out then. DO RAY ME FA SO LA TEE DO!!! doesnt help! I will have to look forward to the new world to sing better. I love that we get to sing even if we are not good at it!

Saw your comment on Laurie's page about the difficulties in going in service. You no doubt have been making it a matter of prayer. Have you let the elders know of your desire to do more? Perhaps they can suggest some ways to help. And there is probably another sister who could use a regular partner but has been to shy to speak up. Maybe you could ask around for someone who could work with you who will be patient? Wish you were closer. I would be happy to work with you in service! Just some thoughts. emoticon

You wax poetic with your beautiful greeting on the threads...and then sending Memorial sparkgoodies, too! Thank you for thinking of me. It is a lovely idea with the candle sparkgoodies...wish I had thought of it!! emoticon
