Stopping the Slide

Hello. I'm an unintentional stay-at-home-mom, unemployed teacher. In 2010, I realized I was 197 lbs and decided that it was time for the slow creep of pounds had to stop. I lost 15 lbs, but have lost my motivation and am looking for a kick in the pants. Let me know if you got some boots to help me!

218 is a beautiful route! A few blogs back, I blogged about running along there on a day it was closed. They stopped closing it on Sundays, they did not have enough volunteers. Biking it is beautiful, but a bit treacherous if there is traffic, some of the drivers treat it like a race course. Are you still in the area?

Thank you for your comment. I was less worried about drowning (there were lots of kayaks and a few skidoos in the water to watch out for people) and more worried about injury. The swim was twice as long as I expected.

I'm signed up for another one this weekend out on Kelly's Island. I am going to try, once again, to see what I can accomplish!
