I'm tired of walking by a mirror and not happy with what I see. I have alway had a weight issue but after my first child I went up another 60 lb. which pushed me over 200. I have always been the type that when I say I will do it I do but not when it came to my weight.

You can say I finally woke up. There is no magic pill and I can't wake up and be lighter or healtier. I know I will have ups and downs I am only human but I also know that I have to be accountable for what I put into my body. I have started to cut my breads, walk to the grocery store with my kids. I buy more fresh foods. I am avoiding eating out so much. I didn't know how much my 4yr LOVES spinach, mushrooms and cucumbers. You know how wonderful it is to hear him ask for spinach instead of some greasy fries.

I want to hear my doctor ask what have you been doing and keep it up.

I want to go to a department store and not have to look for their plus size section.


My Program:
I living the Atkins life. I have cut my carbs and limited my families too. I thought I would find it difficult to leave my pasta and breads but I don't really miss it. I still at right now having only 20-25 net carbs a day since I have to lose so much. I find it funny that I have my husband looking at the labels before he shows me the food he has picked up.

Suprise my choice of exercise is walking and when I'm not out with the family I love to watch horror movies. I also love reading and read to the 2 youngest everynight, right now we are reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
