Well, I guess I'd like to age gracefully if I can manage that. I have come to the realization, as my body begins to betray me, that I'd better start working a little harder at getting and staying in shape, achieving and maintaining a healthy weight, and just generally looking after myself. As the years creep up on me, I am becoming acutely aware of the fact that I must work a bit harder at maintaining my health if I want to continue to have an active and fulfilling life, and if I want to be able to enjoy my retirement years when they eventually arrive, and if I want to be a fun Grandma when the time comes. Yes, there are many things that I want, but most of all I want to be healthy and active for a very long time. It's time to start focusing a little more on those goals!

My Goals:
Lose 10 lbs
Feel more energetic
Feel fit and toned
Drink more water
Get more sleep

My Program:
I'm just trying to consume less calories and am tracking my intake. I'm also taking some fitness programs with the goal of going to the gym 4-5 times per week. My favorite is "Spin & Soul" - 45 minutes of spin followed by 45 minutes of yoga. I really need to drink more water!!

Personal Information:
I live in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. I work fulltime as a medical x-ray technologist and I am mom to 3 teenagers, aged 18, 16 and 14. We are an active, busy family. We share our home with a schnoodle and 3 cats.

Other Information:
I love playing slow pitch and biking. I also enjoy spin and yoga. I enjoy reading and going to the movies as well. Another favorite past-time is leading the cheering squad at my kids' activities - hockey, ringette, lacrosse, track & field.
