MOtivation!!

Now to just lose a little more and then keep it that way!! This last thing I've tried promises that will be possible. Hope so.

I've lost and gained lots of times in my rather long life so far. The last few decades I've been a "little" too heavy. But I didn't want to be thin enough to quit eating so much.

Then my husband had surgery and kept losing weight (on purpose). When it got so he was weighing less than I was I finally decided to do it one more time (at least).

I was browsing through the library and found a Curves book. It has a diet and the promise that you can eat "normally" after losing weight. Something to do with metabolism. So I've been doing that, sort of.

I was keeping track of my nutrition on a piece of paper. I thought it would be easier on the computer and looked for a site that would help me do that. I found this one.

So I've been maintaining and struggling (really) with it. I heard about Betty Berkeley's Primarian diet and tried it. I feel so much better, it's like a miracle. I can't believe that just cutting out some foods would make such a difference!! Have to see how it goes.

My Goals:
My goal now is to maintain and MAYBE lose five more pounds. And get stronger and have a little more muscle in my arms.

My Program:
I'm doing a modified Curves diet. We run/walk every day and I do the Curves exercises at home every day. Half of them. Plus a set of five other exercises. Since I do the same exercises every day I discontinued tracking them.
