A journey to being comfortable in my own body

I am a happily married 22 yo, mother of one. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, and am tired of excuses. I want to be able to keep up with my little girl when she becomes more active, which is very soon! Most of all, I want to be comfortable in my own body, and stop missing out on things because I'm fat, and hate clothes.

Thanks for your comment on my 100lbs lost blog. In answer to your question how long has it taken me.....almost 3 years!! Over the spring of 2007 I lost about 35lbs, but then I lost track and didn't lose, but also didn't really gain for over a year. I started Spark on Jan 4th 2009 at 224lbs and in this past year I have lost a further 65lbs. In all this time some months have been focused and seen losses, others have been tougher and I didn't lose at all. I know lots of people have lost quicker successfully, but really its about how you feel about yourself, rather than how quick it comes. Either way, good luck in your journey and if you ever need anything, just ask, xx

What a great decision you have made to join Spark People. It is an amazing site! The really cool thing is that it is FREE!! There is tons of information to absorb here and there is always someone around to help if you find yourself having a bit of trouble.

Want to make another great decision? Come check out my page. I am a co-leader of a team called QuickFire. It is the best team around by far! Yes, I am bias, but what do you have to lose? If you like what you see about the team, feel free to join! We would love to have you on board with us.

WARINING!! It is proven that QuickFiring can lead to a HOT BODY! I dare you to come play the QuickFire way!!!
