My Goals:
To maintain my weight loss at goal +/- 2lbs. That is, 113-117, 115 being goal.

To keep moving and increase my fitness levels.

To be a more active and less passive participant in my own life.

To be happy, healthy and fit, once and for all!

My Program:
Moving more and eating less, using the fitness and nutrition trackers to keep me on track and in range. I feel that the minute I start to feel deprived failure is at hand, so nothing is "forbidden"...I just need to work within my limits most days and not beat myself up when I have an occasional splurge or a lazy day.

Personal Information:
Married to a tall, hyperactive, naturally skinny guy, who has still had to be more careful of his weight since he's hit middle age. No kids, three cats.

Other Information:
I have Crohn's disease and Enteropathic arthritis, but I still think of myself as healthier than most people. I try to take care of myself, but I also think I've been very lucky.

ONEWEIGH, I was sorry to learn on the Maintenance team page about the early death of your classmate. I'm sorry for your loss.

Early deaths do remind us to do what we can to be healthy. Healthy ways also help us enjoy the days we have. Diabetes is such a wicked disease!

It is not easy to get outside this winter with a cast on your arm. I hope you are feeling better. I will lend you my pal Dusty for a walk around the block. When your arm is better you may volunteer some time to a walk dog for a neighbor or an animal shelter. The shelter will teach how to walk the dogs. Linda from bean town emoticon emoticon emoticon
