On my way to being sexy!!!!

I am a 26 year old single mother of 3 kids. Working full time and caring for my babies doesn't leave much time for me. I am picking back up on the getting healthy journey where I left off about 30 pounds ago. I started at 259 pounds three years ago and during that time made it down to 170, went through a divorce, my ex moving out of state leaving me to completely care for our kids, to going back up to 200 pounds. I am a 26 year old single mother of 3 kids. Working full time and caring for my babies doesn't leave much time for me. I am picking back up on the getting healthy journey where I left off about 30 pounds ago. I started at 259 pounds three years ago and during that time made it down to 170, went through a divorce, my ex moving out of state leaving me to completely care for our kids, to going back up to 200 pounds. While I may not always think I have the time to exercise I always seem to find time to watch tv. I have made a vow to myself to become healthy again. In order to do that I will slowly change my lifestyle to the way it used to be when I lost 89 pounds. I was happy and felt good about myself for the first time in my life. This time around not only am I changing my lifestyle but incorporating my kids into it as well. We as a family will learn to eat better, play harder together, and enjoy the outdoors more than the tv. I would love to have a Sparkbuddy to help keep me motivated, and I would do the same in return.


Current Status:
ONETEXASCHICK I lost an unbelievable amount of weight this week. 10 pounds in 7 days and a total of 7.5 inches in 5 days!

My Goals:
my goals mainly are just to lose weight and get healthy. i want to be able to wear at least a large in clothes, no more xl or xxl. Update on that, I am now wearing a large and am looking forward to wearing mediums :)

My Program:
to meet my goals i am drinking pretty much just water and counting calories. I have found I really love pink lady apples so that is my snack most days. I have an exercise bike that I ride while watching tv plus doing exercise videos, or playing the xbox Kinect with my kids.

Hi! So sorry you've been having computer problems. I've been having computer problems too, my laptop has died completely! :( Congrats on the new job, that's great news! I understand about videos, it takes a lot of repitition to get those down, but that is still my love! I just love doing videos in my home, and I've gotten some really good results so it can definitely be done! :) Keep up the great work!

I just got back from a weekend extravaganza in Chicago, so I've been really busy! Then I also started teaching summer school and have started night classes twice a week for my masters, so things haven't slowed down for me yet! :)

Hey girl, how are you doing? I totally understand what you were saying about it being so easy to *not* go to the gym! That is why I strictly work out at home now, and if you find the right workout its JUST as good as a gym. I don't know about you, but I never spent the money on a trainer at the gym, so if I use a video I actually have some guidance on what to do to get a good burn. It's idiot proof, which is exactly what I need! LOL :)

How has your week been? Mine was completely crazy, but now I'm on summer vacation so I'll move on to another type of crazy! :)

So how long have you been doing your current routine? Are you being pretty consistent with it? I know just within the past couple months all of this has finally clicked and I've truly realized that exersize is going to be part of my life. I no longer dread working out, I know it is important and it's not really an option I give myself. I WILL workout every day and now I'm looking forward to it every day! I never thought I would think like that!!

I work out exclusively from home. I don't have time to go to a gym and with the different times of day I have available I know I wouldn't get in my car to drive to the gym. I'm so thankful there are great workout dvds out there, and they work me WAAAAYYY harder than I ever pushed myself at the gym! LOL

So you have 3 kids! Wow! You are outnumbered! I am scared to have more than two because my husband and I have our hands full already... How old are your kids?
