Changing my life

I have been trying to lose weight for years - sometimes successfully, sometime not so much. With SP I want to find success to keep by changing my attitude as well as my weight and fitness level. If I can support and encourage others along the way I would be honored.

My name is Barbara. I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles, now live in the Ventura area of Southern California where we retired. My career was community organizing and grant management. We have 5 grandchildren between us and they are our joy. I am currently an interfaith spiritual director.

Other Information:
My hobbies are music - listening, playing, and singing; reading; scrapbooking.

My passion is my grandchildren.

Barbara I need to know if you have done the 5/10 exercise, can you do what the others do and put done against the days

5/10 minute exercise, yes you are doing the right one it has been ongoing for a few weeks now. You can do any exercise as long as it coincides with the exercise for that day, you can do 5or10 minutes do as many minutes as you like. You go for it girl

I think housework counts as every kind of workout you can have... but don't know if the experts would agree.

Hey Barbara, I am so happy to see you have joined the People with Disabilities Team. I do hope you will like being here. It is a very friendly group and you can post as little or as much as you like. some of us - including me emoticon do tend to ramble on a bit.
We are all friends and it is not a clique thing. We love new people joining in.
