Hi Gwen! Don't worry about me, dear friend. Both my parents had (AAA) Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms. For 5 years, I have pre-emptively been watching mine. This last year there has been change... from 1cm to 2cm to 2.8cm. They don't do the stint until 5cm. The reason for the 6/22 test results is that's when my next appointment is, with the new Cardiologist. I promise you, they'll call me, if needed. I feel fine. My BP was 112/62 this morning. I promise to post when I go in for the stint. I'm hoping it's soon or a year away. I go to France in October....don't want anything to interfere with THAT!
Hi Gwen, I hope you and Dickens are doing well and that the little guy is giving you a break once in a while ;) Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for all the wonderful support you've been giving me on my feed. Friends like you are special. Hugs to you and the little one... Nancy 57 days ago
Gwen, Thanks for your note on my blog- I promised you the story. I am very happy flying solo. I think there is an entire demographic of single women, probably Baby Boomers... we are independent & living life to the fullest.
Thanks for keeping Allan in your prayers! He's doing as well as can be expected. He's using a walker & will begin PT in 2 weeks. Still dealing with pain, but is managing & his legs don't seem to want to move right away & he's frustrated. My daughter says he's getting a little better everyday....sleeping is an issue. They have a sleep number bed, so he's able to adjust the firmness for comfort. She went out & bought a wedge to help him lay better & make it easier to get in & out of bed. She had to take him to the community center to use the showers to bathe because he can't lift his legs to get into the tub to shower...poor guy! You can imagine his frustrations! Anyway, I'm glad all is well in your world! Lovin' the Dickens out of your little guy!
