My name is Natalie and I feel like it's time for me to get healthier. I've recently found out I have PCOS so I'm at a much higher risk for diabetes, and I want to avoid getting it at all costs. My Program:
I'm cutting out refined carbs except for the occasional indulgence, taking my supplements, and going to the gym around 5 days a week. Other than that, logging my food in the nutrition tracker has been the most helpful thing imaginable, it has given me a sense of how many calories I can expect to be in the foods I eat whereas before they were just abstract numbers that were meaningless to me.

Other Information:
I love old time horror radio, film, christmas lights and karaoke (not that I sing particularly well)

Hey I read a post on PCOS board from you like two years ago. I am battling between hormones and non-hormones. I cant really find a balance. What exactly was your doctor telling you about losing weight and beating PCOS?

i COMPLTELY understand. last week i skipped the gym twice, and went for a walk instead. even though it was good i still got out there and moved, it was way less satisfying than putting in a good workout so i ended up just getting mad at myself for not sucking it up and making there. if i can go for a walk and to a friends bbq, i could have definitely put an hour into the gym! i too, went away for the weekend and ate more than usual, but i'm trying to leave it in the past and have a good week. hope you had fun, though!!! take care and good luck :)

p.s. - loved your usage of "marinating"!
