A GREAT DAY for a new start. I keep starting and falling away from being active with SP. Needless to say, I could be happier with myself and release myself from some of the baggage that I don't enjoy in my life if I just addressed my weight, stress, and all that comes along with the process rather than reading about how great so many others are doing. Time to step up!
Finding time for me - balance between work, family and life.
Breaking down things into bits so I get stuff done and don't become overwhelmed and then work like a crazy lady.
Recognizing me and my needs so that I can be healthy and happy.
Oh yeah! I'd like to drop 50 pounds too. :-)
My program consists of becoming active here at SP, continuing to monitor my mood eating, actually eating breakfast and lunch and not binging.
I walk and plan to move into regular structured exercise as a way to get myself committed to being a healthier, fitter and improved me.
Married 47 year old female with one adult daughter and two adult step sons - All out on their own.
Full time employee, general overseer of Mom, who lives with husband and I and seemingly the go to person in the various pockets of my life.
I enjoy our two dogs - an older Malamute and a younger Siberian Husky.
I enjoy reading hope to reintroduce myself to many of the hobbies I used to enjoy, such as sewing and ceramics and learn some new stuff --- I'd really love a garden!

It is in the moments of decision that our destiny is shaped.- A. Robbins
Life is filled with decisions and often times the difficult ones involve change. And although change can mean leaving our comfort zone and finding solutions to our problems so we can move forward in continual growth... it can make for learning who we are and what we're made of, one heck of an interesting and inspiring journey. Trust in the process. Embrace this part of life, and life will embrace you back•¨¯`💕

"We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference,
ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time,
add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."
-Marian Wright Edelman

"Whatever you want in life, start today.
Not tomorrow - today.
Let it be a small beginning - a tiny beginning.
Your happiness depends on starting today - every day."
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
I hope your week has been going well, Sparkfriend! I know its hard to stay on track this time of year. Just remember, if you go off track, you can always get right back on! Every day is a new start, after all. I believe in you and I'm here if you need support.
LESSONS FROM A SNOWMAN
It's okay if you're a little bottom heavy.
Hold your ground, even when the heat is on.
Wearing white is always appropriate.
Winter is the best of the four seasons.
It takes a few extra rolls to make a good midsection.
There's nothing better than a foul weather friend.
The key to life is to be a jolly, happy soul.
It's not the size of the carrot, but the placement that counts.
We're all made up of mostly water.
You know you've made it when they write a song about you.
Accessorize! Accessorize! Accessorize!
Avoid yellow snow.
Don't get too much sun.
It's embarrassing when you can't look down and see your feet.
It's fun to hang out in your front yard.
There's no stopping you once you're on a roll.
