There and back again..

Since I could remember I've always had a love/hate relationship with my weight. But it wasn't until 8 years ago and my first pregnancy that it had gotten out of control. I hit 270+ pounds, the biggest I've ever been in my life.

It took me only 3 months to take off 30 pounds of that, but adding another pregnancy into the mix, I had been in the holding pattern. It wasn't until August of 2010 I joined spark that I started to get serious.

Over a year later,I am now home stretch of my weight loss journey. If you can call 14 pounds the home stretch! :D

I've finished the C25 on 8/16/10. Took a break from running for awhile but back on track.

12 minute mile completed on 1/15

10 minute mile completed 6/13

Sub 10 minute mile 7/5

PR 5k: 33.10 !
28:10 (on track) 7/20

PR 10k: 1:11 9/11

Started the bridge to 10k program/60 minutes running.
Finished 2/12/11

My measurements/stats are

High waist: " 27
waist: "29
Hips: "34
Arms: 11

Down 14 inches from high waist, 10 from my natrual waist.. and 13 from my hips. 3from arm. A total of 40 nches!!!!!!! 12/11


UPDATE:
Back again. Hit by a drunk driver two years ago, and slowly started to put back on the weight that I lost. Started a yo yo cycle.. :/ One move across the ocean and back... Here are my current stats.

HW: 270
CW: 199.7
LW: 145
GW: 130

Completely C25k again (started 7/12)
Register for Disney princess Half marathon

Currently I am monitoring my calorie intake. :)

I run anywhere between 3 to 6 days a week, and do turbo fire or dance in-between.

Thank you for your prayers and good wishes on my blog "Caregiver Rant" about my 93 year old mom. You were right. It was the drugs and anxiety/fear about walking since she's off the drugs because she remembers how insecure she was on the drugs.

Our minds play real tricks with us!

@ONCEUPONADREAM Thank you...it always feels better than knowing I'm not alone.
I do use the crockpot once in awhile...it's really finding a motivation.

I enjoy Zumba...but I honestly don't have the funds right now to join a gym and the locations that I find that are just strictly Zumba are not close to my house and that alone will prevent me from going. I do see Instagram posts and following fitness people there.
but you're right...motivation changes and I gotta find it and also set small goals so I feel like I am actually making progress. emoticon
