Yeah I here you, all my life I was told by diet books, low fat and sugar free this. Well my sugar free this was increased consumption of artificial sweeteners along with the low fat left me starving, uncontrollable food eating binges. I'm definitely high fat, not necessarily low carb since I have 4 servings of fruit and over 10 servings of vegetables. I usually end up with the same number of grams of protien , fat and carbs, . 25% of daily calories each from from carbs and protein & 50% caories from fat. If those ratios change, its always the carbs % that goes down, the other two up. I have avoided most of the processed foods, added sugar and all the wheat and grains. Replaced it with eggs, cheese, real butter, grass fed beef and venison, along with chicken, pork, fish & seafood. About a gallon of water per day with all those fruit and vegetables. I feel guilty in comparison loosing an average of 3 pounds per week these past nine months tracking an average of 3000 daily calorie intake I discovered a way of eating the right combination of foods that really speeds up my body's fat burning ability. I been prepared for months now to lower my calorie intake, however i prefer to loose the two pounds per week rate which I have been these past three months. I have been over prepared to lower my calorie intake to reflect the continued 2 pounds per week weight loss. I am a firm believe loosing weight too fast is not a good idea. I purposely eat more than I need, sometimes when I am not hungry to slow down the weight loss, yet I am down 119 pounds since December 20th and 140 pounds from this time last year. Just by changing what foods I eat, weight loss has been effortlessly in many ways. This is from someone who failed every past weight loss attempt due to being constantly hungry all his life, almost given up many times with the feeling of hopelessness. All because I was being influenced in ways I never imagined all my life due to artificial sweeteners.
