My new long journey to happiness
In case you are wondering why I picked the nickname OMsome, my real name is Olga M. and I wanted my nickname to sound like awesome, to motivate myself. I joined Spark People 4 years ago, this website helped me reaching my goal for the year 2007. However, I am now back to same point, actually at much much lower point. In case you are wondering why I picked the nickname OMsome, my real name is Olga M. and I wanted my nickname to sound like awesome, to motivate myself. I joined Spark People 4 years ago, this website helped me reaching my goal for the year 2007. However, I am now back to same point, actually at much much lower point. Last 2 years were very stressful with lots of changes in my life: Married, unplanned move, lost family members, finished my Ph.D. and more ... As a consequence I did not only gained weight , my self-esteem and mental health also suffered with it. After a long period of denial about my situation, I am currently undergoing treatment for my depression. It is time to care of my physical health too. Maximum weight in 2011: 190 lbs, 86 kgs :-( Re-starting my SP life! 07/21/2011: 185 lbs, 84 kgs 07/28/2011: 178 lbs, 81 kgs (I always lose tons of weight during the first week but then it slows down) 08/04/2011: 176 lbs, 80 Kgs 08/09/2011: 175 lbs; 79.5 kgs 08/16/2011: 174 lbs; 79 kgs 08/24/2011: 172 lbs; 78 kgs 08/31/2011: 171 lbs; 77.6 kgs 09/14/2011: 169 lbs; 76.7 kgs 09/21/2011: 168 lbs; 76.4 kgs 09/28/2011: 172 lbs; 78 kgs first step back :(. Feeling to good to give up.

My Goals:
To regain my mental and physical health by taking care of my body and mind. My first goal is to get back to a healthy BMI. After reaching that goal I am planning to move forward and tune my body to my dream body. Nonetheless, I will be happy just to achieve the first goal.
My Program:
My daily challenge: - Plan my meals and workouts. - Read 1 article about self-motivation or self-esteem. My weekly challenge: - Write down a work plan with goals I want to achieve for this week. - Weight and measure. - Ask for help at least to 1 person. - Do something for someone else. - Look back, reward good behavior, see what I have to improve. - Relax, let it go but do not give in. My weekly cardio workout: - Zumba : Mondays, Fridays; 30 to 50 minues sessions - Jogging: Tuesdays, Thrusdays and Saturdays; 40 to 50 minutes. Goal: run 5 miles without stopping by the end of 2011. - Wednesdays: Hip hop and kickboxing; 30 minutes each. My weekly strength training: - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Goals: Do 2 sets of 15 push-ups by the end of 2011.
