One Day At A Time

My name is Krystine and I'm 21 years old. I'm hoping to lose 53 pounds (at least) before just working to maintain that weight. I have slipped over obese for my height (33.7) and the thought horrifies me. How can I be so young and already so off-track? That's why I'm here :)

My Goals:
I am trying to live a healthier life. Me and my husband want to start a family soon-ish (the next 1-3 years) so I want to be healthy when we start trying. I want to be able to give my children a head start in a healthy lifestyle.

My Program:
I don't really have a program. Though I am working on creating one that fits me. I've wasted too much time trying to make myself fit someone else's program.

Personal Information:
I am from Suffolk County on Long Island. I moved to Florida when I was 12, moved to California for a little over a year, and the military has moved us again, this time to Virginia :)

Other Information:
I have three cats that I love as if they were my children. They are Edward (4 years 4 months), Meme (4 years 2 months) and Kira (1 year 4 months).

Today we'll be having baked manicotti with some bread and a salad. I just wish I could find the 4th bottom thing to my Wii Fit. I want to use it damn it emoticon

I'm using my crockpot like twice a week now. Usually it's for chicken, though the pork recipe worked out great, too! I haven't been using official "recipes", I've just been throwing ingredients in, and the results have been good so far! Learning from my mistakes along the way, too, though. First time I made chicken, I only put 1/2 cup water in for it to cook with, and the chicken turned out tasty, but drrrry. Last night I tried again, did almost 2 cups of water, and it was much better! I think I'll try 3 cups next time and see how juicy it ends up (it was just a tad dry in the middle last night).

I actually haven't listened to music for my workouts all month o.o (aside from DDR of course!) I don't have any sort of mp3 player, though, so it's good that I didn't want to lol

Yesterday I did a 40-minute DDR workout in the morning, then Candy and Roxas came over and we all did more DDR for an hour or two, and I showed them this "Pick-yourlevel Pilates" video on Netflix, which we all worked out to as well. And even though I got a great workout yesterday, and did my core strength training today, I'm still not sore! I'ts super exciting! :D

That's awesome n_n
Luke is starting to show an interest in the fitness side of things, so I'm excited for that!
And he ended up eating this slowcooker barbeque pork I made the other night. He liked it, even though he doesn't like pork!
:D

Oh boy, that's too much site-juggling for me lol I"m lucky I have enough time budgeted to get on sparkpeople!

That's cool that Sam's working with you on it, though. Luke is too picky - won't try anything :( So, he's S.O.L. on dinner some nights because I'm not going to baby him all the time and stop taking care of myself because he's too picky to eat what I cook. He's a sport sometimes, though.

I know, I remember that image from Bayshore forums XD Still awesome!
I see you found Candy, too! I need to get her more active on here, but they don't have their own internet access, so they come over to use ours lol.

I'm impressed you manage to use the complete meal planner. Every now and again I get to use one of their meal plans, but for the most part I just buy healthier options and "Enter a food not listed". Working out pretty well so far! I've been consistently hitting my target ranges for 14 of 16 days or something like that! :D I'd love to be able to do the complete planner/grocery list thing, but my boyfriend is a picky S-O-B! (and I am sad that SparkPeople considers the frustrated face to be HTML... I keep wanting to type it and then it's all like "Please remove any profanity or HTML from your comment" D:
